Megan Romano’s Chocolate & Spice Bakery Starts Dishing Today

Pastry chef extraordinaire Megan Romano debuts her highly anticipated Chocolate & Spice Bakery today, serving up pastries such as the caramel sticky brioche bun as of now.

The former pastry chef at Aureole at Mandalay Bay dishes her artisan chocolates such as bon bons, truffles and bark along with ice creams and shake. Tarts, pies and cakes are available for pick up and can be custom ordered to suit any occasion. Items sure to sell out quickly include Romano family recipe banana vanilla bean cream pie, a tequila lime chocolate bar, chocolate chip and tangerine zest cookies, almond rocher with fleur de sel and a dark chocolate truffle cake.

Romano doesn’t ignore the savory side of the menu. Breakfast frittatas decked out in roasted vegetable and parmesan, sandwiches and salads including a vine ripe tomato, watermelon and mozzarella salad or toasted garlic broccolini, penne pasta and soups round out the menu.
